Ciro's Majestic Barrière
On the Croisette, the Majestic beach restaurant reinterprets 1920s Art Deco through marine blues and coastal elegance — a cinematic Riviera setting.
Vision
The project was imagined as a refined and timeless Riviera setting, capable of evoking the glamour of Cannes without falling into cliché. The ambition was to create a beachfront destination that feels elegant, generous and unmistakably rooted in the history of the Majestic.
Context
Located on the Croisette, the project engages directly with one of the Riviera's most iconic hotel identities. The beach needed to extend the spirit of the Majestic while developing its own atmosphere — more open, more relaxed, but still aligned with the hotel's heritage and sense of refinement.
Design approach
The design is structured around a streamlined Art Deco language inspired by the 1920s, with archival references translated into a more contemporary composition. Bas-reliefs echo the original façade, while custom furniture and a palette of marine blue and deep red reinterpret the hotel's historic codes. The overall atmosphere combines geometry, softness and coastal elegance, creating a place that feels both cinematic and easy to inhabit.
